Meditation is the way to happiness

"Unless our minds are stable and calm, no matter how comfortable our physical condition may be, they will give us no pleasure. Therefore, the key to a happy life, now and in the future, is to develop a happy mind"

So what does it mean, to have a happy mind?
It means that life can throw some real difficulties our way, so how are we supposed to be happy all the time?
Well, we’re not.
We wouldn't be human if we didn't feel anger, sadness, frustration, heartache, doubt, anxiety. The problem is, though, that we get into thought ruts and its hard to snap out of them.  Once you get into a sad state, it becomes easier and easier to think of sad thoughts, you go from one thought to another, or it sometimes makes you angry that you carry this anger with you all day.
I think that it’s the awareness that we are wallowing, or ruminating, or allowing ourselves to get worked up over little stuff, that I mean by having a happy mind.
Choose to stop your runaway negative thoughts. Catch yourself because aware of your feelings, not necessarily your thoughts, make the choice to stop. Look at your self in the mirror. That’s your go-to trick whenever you are experiencing negative feelings that threaten to linger and grow.
You will felt better in a very short time, and the rest of the day will go well.
There is nothing wrong, except you made it so, through your thoughts and negativity.
But you want a happy day, so take control and made it so. Either way - you have a choice!
So how can you learn this awareness, and consciously make the choice to be happier? Easy! Just meditate.

Learn the ins and outs of your automatic thought processes. Learn to spot your downward spirals. Learn to become aware of your emotions as they manifest in physical feelings. Just become more aware in general - get off autopilot - and it will be easier and easier to quickly revert to calm, stability, happiness and peace.
It won't take long to find this state, practice one to one meditation with me.
